図 36 (1)はコネクション ID信号 102を示している。 この信号 102は図 33 (2)の 信号 102 と同じであるが、 図 36 (1)では、例えばサンプリング周期信号 103が 250 ミ リ秒である場合、 1秒 ( = 250ミ リ秒 X 4 ) 間隔で発生するコネクション ID信 号 102のみを示し、他の中間で発生するコネクション ID信号 102は省略している。 最初のコネクション ID信号 102= " 0 " 〜 " 3 " のとき、 各コネクション ID に対応したカウント値 = " 0 " あるとする。 コネクション ID= " 0 "〜 " 3 " に 対応したカウンタ (監視タイマ) は、 順次サンプリング周期信号毎にインクリメ ントされ、 カウント値 == " 3 " で 1秒経過したことになる。
カウント値判断部 43は、 コネクション ID= " 0 "に対応したリードデータ (力 ゥント値) 108 が例えば所定の閾値 = 「3」 に達したと判断してセル生成周期到 達信号 123を出力する。 論理積回路 44は、 セル生成周期到達信号 123、 サンプリ ング周期信号 103、 及び障害状態信号 124が全て " 1 " のとき、 回線選択部 48を 介してセル組立部 46にセル揷入要求信号 125を送る。
セル組立部 46は、 コネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルを組み立て、 セル挿入 部 47に 0AMセルの挿入を依頼し、 セル挿入部 47は、 コネクション ID= " 0 " の 0AMセルを揷入する (同図(1) )。
同様にして、 コネクション ID= " 1 " に対応した監視タイマが所定の時間例え ば 1秒を経過したことを示し、 セル揷入部 47 にコネクション ID= " 1 " の 0AM セルの挿入が依頼されたがセル揷入ができなかったとき、セル挿入部 47は回線挿 入不可を示す回線セル挿入不可信号 130をカウンタ 11 (図 31参照) に送り、 力 ゥンタ 11を停止する。
このカウンタ 11の停止により、 各コネクション IDに対応した監視タイマは全 て停止することになる。
そして、 ひ秒後にセル挿入部 47は、 コネクション ID= " 1 " の OAMセル挿入 を成功する (同図(3)のカウンタ停止 1回目のタイミング)。 その後、 セル挿入部 47は、 回線挿入可を示す回線セル挿入不可信号 130—1 をコネクション ID生成部 49内のカウンタ 11に送り、 カウンタ 11を起動する。
以下、 同様にして、 コネクション ID= " 2 " の監視タイマが所定の時間例えば 1秒を経過したことを示したとき、セル挿入部 47は 0AMセルの挿入に成功する(同 図(4) )。 その後、 コネクション ID= " 3 " の監視タイマが、 所定の時間例えば 1 秒を経過したことを示したとき、セル揷入部 47は 0AMセルの挿入に成功せず、力 ゥンタ 11を停止させるための回線セル挿入不可信号 130_1を送り、 ct秒後に成功 する (同図(5)のカウンタ停止 2回目のタイミング)。
この結果、 コネクション ID= " 3 " の 0AMセルの挿入遅れは、 コネクション ID = " 1 " の OAMセルの揷入遅れ α秒も加算した少なく とも 2 α秒となり、 さらに 以後の全てのコネクション IDの 0AMセルの挿入時間は所定の挿入周期と比較して 2 α秒だけ遅れる。すなわち、各コネクション IDの 0AMセルで発生した揷入遅れ 時間が全て加算されて、 以後の全ての 0AMセルの挿入遅れ時間として加算される ことになる。 このような従来の ATM通信監視装置においては、 0AMセル発生処理においては、 処理コネクション数が多くなればなるほど、 処理中に流れるユーザセルが多くな るため、 0AM セルの挿入に成功しない確率が大きくなりセル発生周期の誤差が大 きくなるとともに、 コネクション IDを生成するカウンタが停止され、 このカウン タ停止に伴って、 0AM セル生成周期の誤差が積み重なってしまうという問題があ つた。
また、警報状態監視用のコネクション ID生成部と 0AMセル生成用のコネクショ ン ID生成部はカウンタ動作が異なるため共用化ができず、別々に設けられていた ためハードウエアのコス トが高くなるという問題があった。
従って本発明は、 監視タイマを用いて監視を行う ATM通信監視装置において、 監視タイマの動作時間の精度を上げると共に、 ハードウエアのコストを削減する ことを課題とする。 発明の開示
( 1 )上記の課題を解決するため、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置は、 基本周期信号を 発生する基本タイマと、 該基本周期信号の区間内で 1つ以上のコネクション ID を生成するコネクション ID生成部と、 該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎に カウントした所定の周期で、各コネクション IDに対応した生成すべき 0AMセルの コネクション情報をキュ一^ {ングして該 0AMセルを生成する 0AMセル生成部と、 を有することを特徴としている。
すなわち、 コネクション ID生成部は、該基本周期信号間で 1つ以上のコネクシ ヨン IDを順次生成する。 0AMセル生成部は、 各コネクション ID毎に該基本周期 信号をカウントし、 このカウント値が所定の値に達したか否かを判断し、 達した ときコネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルのコネクション情報をキューィングし、 このコネクション情報に基づき 0AMセルを順次出力セル流に出力する。
図 1 (1)は、 0AMセル生成部のセル生成タイミングを示している。 コネクション ID生成部は、 該基本周期信号の 1周期内にコネクション ID =例えば " 0 ", " 1 ", " 2 ", " 3 ", …を順次出力する。 0AMセル生成部は、 例えば 250 ミリ秒毎に発生 する該基本周期信号を 4カウントした 1秒の周期で、 0AM セルを生成することが 必要なコネクション IDのコネクション情報をキューイングする。
そして、 0AM セル生成部は、 キューイングされたコネクション情報を取り出し このコネクション情報に対応したコネクションの出力セル流に順次 0AMセルを出 力する。
すなわち、 同図(2)に示すように、 例えばコネクション ID= " 0 " 及び " 2 " の 2番目の 0AMセルは、 最初の 0AMセル出力時点からそれぞれ 1秒後に出力され る力 コネクショ ン ID= " 1 " 及び " 3 " の 2番目の 0AMセルにはセル出力時に 空きがなかったと仮定すると、それぞれ ct秒及び ]3秒遅れて出力される。 ただし、 これらの遅れはコネクシヨン ID= " 1 " 及び " 3 " の 3番目以後の 0AMセルの出 力タイミング (図示せず)、 及びコネクション ID= " 0 " 及び " 2 " の以後の出 カタイミングにも影響しない。
すなわち、 0AMセル生成部は、 出力すべき 0AMセルを出力セル流に挿入するこ とが可能になるまで待ち合わせを行うが、 この間、 該基本周期信号のコネクショ ン IDに対応したカウントは停止しない。 したがって、 カウンタ動作は 0AMセル出 力動作の影響を受けないことになり、 セル挿入の待ち合わせ時間の積み重ねはな くなるので監視タイマの精度を向上させることが可能となる。
( 2 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該 0AMセル生成部が、 該基本周期信 号を各コネクション ID 毎にカウントするためのセル生成周期メモリを有するこ とができる。
すなわち、該セル生成周期メモリ内に、各コネクション IDに対応したカウンタ を設定し、 各カウンタが該基本周期信号をカウントしてもよい。
( 3 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コネ クシヨン IDが有効であることを示す監視制御信号をさらに生成し、該メモリが、 該監視制御信号に基づいて該基本周期信号を力ゥントすることができる。
すなわち、 該コネクション ID生成部は生成したコネクション IDが有効である ことを示す監視制御信号を生成し、 この監視制御信号が有効を示したとき、 該メ モリ内の有効なコネクション IDのカウンタを 1だけ加算することにより、該基本 周期信号をカウントする監視タイマ動作と同じ動作を行うことが可能である。
( 4 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 基本周期信号を発生する基本タイマ と、該基本周期信号の区間内で 1つ以上のコネクション IDを生成するコネクショ ン ID生成部と、該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、該カウンタの値に基 づいた所定の周期で、該コネクション IDに対応した発生すべき 0AMセルのコネク ション情報をキューィングして該 0AMセルを生成する 0AMセル生成部と、 を有す ることを特徴としている。
すなわち、本発明の ATM通信監視装置は、上記の本発明(1)の ATM通信監視装置 において、 0AMセル生成部が各コネクション ID毎に該基本周期信号をカウントす る代わりに、 該カウンタの値で 0AMセルを発生する所定の周期のタイミングを判 断し、各コネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルのコネクション情報をキューィング し、 このコネクション情報に基づき 0AMセルを順次出力セル流に出力する。
これにより、 コネクション ID毎にカウンタを用意する必要がなくなり、ハード ウェアコス 卜の削減が可能となる。
( 5 )また、 本発明の ATM 通信監視装置では、 上記の本発明(4)において、 該 0AM セルをキュ一^ f ングするタイミングを該カウントの値に基づいて分散することが 可能である。
すなわち、 各カウンタ値にセル生成のタイミングを分散することにより、 セル 揷入の成功の確率を高めることが可能である。
( 6 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 上記の本発明(1)及び(4)において、 該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎にカウントして、 各コネクション IDのコ ネクシヨンの監視状態が所定継続時間に達したか否かを監視する警報状態タイマ 監視部をさらに有することをができる。
すなわち、警報状態タイマ監視部は、該コネクション IDのコネクションが例え ば、 AIS/RDI警報状態及び L0C状態等の警報状態や、ループバック監視及び起動 · 停止応答監視等の NG発生監視状態であるとき、該基本周期信号を力ゥントして当 該コネクションの監視を行うべき状態の継続時間を監視する。
これにより、 警報状態監視用の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID 生成部を 0AM セル生成用の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID 生成部と共用することが可能とな り、 ハードウェアのコス ト削減が可能となる。
( 7 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該警報状態タイマ監視部が、 該基本 周期信号を該コネクション ID 毎にカウントするための警報状態監視メモリを有 することができる。
すなわち、上記の本発明(2)の該 0AMセル生成部と同様に、該警報状態タイマ監 視部は、該セル生成周期メモリ内に、各コネクション IDに対応したカウンタを設 定し、 各カウンタが該基本周期信号をカウントしてもよい。
( 8 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コネ クシヨン IDが有効であることを示す監視制御信号をさらに生成し、該警報状態監 視メモリが、 該監視制御信号に基づいて該基本周期信号をカウントしてもよい。 すなわち、 上記の本発明(3)と同様に、 該コネクション ID生成部は生成したコ ネクシヨン IDが有効であることを示す監視制御信号を生成し、この監視制御信号 が有効を示したとき、該警報状態監視メモリの有効なコネクシヨン IDに対応した カウンタを 1だけ加算することにより、監視タイマ動作を行うことが可能である。
( 9 )また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 上記の本発明(1)又は(4)において、 該 0AMセル生成部は、 該コネクション情報をキューイングするセル生成情報キュ 一部と、 キューイングされた該コネクション情報に基づいて 0AMセルを組み立て るセル組立部と、 セル挿入の可否を判断して、 該組み立てられた 0AMセルを出力 セル流に挿入するセル揷入部とを備えることが可能である。
すなわち、 セル生成情報キュー部は、 該コネクション情報を待ち合わせ行列と して順次記憶する。 セル組立部は、 記憶された最初のコネクション情報を取り出 し、 この情報に基づいて 0AMセルを組み立てる。 この 0AMセルをセル挿入部は、 セル出力流に空きが有るとき挿入する。
以下、 同様にしてセル生成情報キュー部からコネクション情報を記憶された順 に取り出して、 対応する 0AMを組み立ててセル出力流に揷入する。
(10)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション ID生成部が、 複数回 線の該コネクション IDを生成するためのカウンタを含むことができる。
すなわち、 コネクション ID生成部は、 各回線に含まれるコネクションの IDの 総数をカウントするカウントを用意し、 各カウント値に複数回線のコネクション IDを対応付けする。
これにより、複数回線の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID生成部を共通化するこ とができるため、 ハードゥエアコス トの削減が可能となる。
(11)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション情報を少なく ともコ ネクシヨン ID情報、 生成する 0AMセル種別情報、 及び障害種別情報、 並びに複数 の回線の場合、 回線 ID情報で構成することができる。
すなわち、 0AMセル生成部は、 生成すべきコネクションの 0AMセルを組み立て るために必要な最小限のコネクション情報として、 コネクション ID情報、 0AMセ ル種別情報、 及び障害種別情報のみをキュ一^ Tング、 さらに複数回線の場合、 回 線 ID情報を付加してキューィングする。
これによりコネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルの全ての情報をキューイングす る必要がなくなり、 必要メモリ容量が減少し、 ハ一ドゥエアコス トの削減が可能 となる。
(12)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該 0AMセル種別情報、 該障害種別情 報、 及び該回線 ID情報をコ一ド化することもできる。
すなわち、 コード化することにより各情報をキューィングするために必要メモ リ容量を削減することも可能である。
(13)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 上記の本発明(1)又は(4)において、 該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、 該カウンタの値をタイマ監視開始信 号で記憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 現在の該カゥンタ値と該記憶された力ゥン ト値との差を演算する減算回路と、 該差と所定の監視カウント値とを比較して監 視状態が所定継続時間に到達したか否かを判断するカウント値判断部と、 をさら に有することを特徴としている。
すなわち、本発明(6)の警報状態タイマ監視部の代わりに、監視状態の継続時間 を監視するために、 該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタを設け、 このカウン トの値を該警報状態監視メモリがタイマ監視開始信号のタイミングで記憶する。 該減算回路が記憶されたカウント値と現在のカウント値との差を演算し、 該カウ ント値判断部が該差と所定の監視カウント値とを比較し監視状態の継続時間に到 達したか否かを判断する。
これにより、 警報状態監視メモリへの書込アクセス回数を少なくすることが可 能となり、 メモリの消費電力が少なくなるとともに、 その寿命が長くなる。 また、複数のコネクション IDに対応するカウンタ値を保持するメモリを共通に した場合においても、 アクセスの競合が起こりにく くなる。
また、上記の本発明(6)と同様に、基本タイマ及びコネクション ID生成部は 0AM セル生成用の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID 生成部と共用することが可能であ り、 さらに、 該カウンタは、 上記の本発明(4)の該カウンタと共用することも可能 であり、 ハードウェアのコスト削減が可能となる。
(14)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 上記の本発明(1)又は(4)において、 該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、 該カウンタの値と所定の監視カウン ト値とを加算する加算回路と、 該加算回路の演算結果をタイマ監視開始信号で記 憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 該記憶されたカウント値と現在の該カウント値と を比較して監視状態が所定継続時間に到達したか否かを判断するカウント値判断 部と、 をさらに有することを特徴としている。
すなわち、本発明(6)の警報状態タイマ監視部の代わりに、監視状態の継続時間 を監視するために、 該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタを設け、 該加算回路 が該カウンタの値と所定の監視カウント値とを加算して監視状態の継続時間経過 後のカウンタ値を演算する。 この演算結果を監視状態監視メモリがタイマ監視開 始信号のタイミングで記憶する。 カウント値判断部は記憶されたカウント値と現 在のカウント値とを比較して監視状態の継続時間に到達したか否かを判断する。 これにより、 上記の本発明(13)と同様に、 警報状態監視メモリの消費電力が少 なくなるとともに、 その寿命が長くなる。
また、 上記の本発明(14)と同様に、 該基本タイマ、 該コネクション ID生成部、 及び該カウンタは、 0AMセル生成部の該基本タイマ、 該コネクション ID生成部、 及ぴ該カウンタと共用することが可能であり、 ハードウエアのコスト削減が可能 となるとともに、 共通メモリへのアクセス競合が起こりにく くなる。
(15)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該警報状態タイマ監視部は、 受信セ ルの処理部からの処理結果に基づいた該警報状態監視メモリへのアクセスと、 該 警報状態タイマ監視部のタイマ監視処理による該警報状態監視メモリへのァクセ スと、 を時分割で選択制御する監視メモリアクセス制御部を含むことができる。 すなわち、 監視メモリアクセス制御部は、 受信セルの処理部がその処理結果に 基づいて該警報状態監視メモリにアクセスする信号と、 警報状態監視タイマ処理 による該警報状態監視メモリにアクセスする信号と、 を時分割した異なるタイミ ングのス口ッ トで選択して各アクセスを許可する。
これにより、 例えばセルスロッ ト内を時分割することにより、 受信セル処理結 果による該警報状態監視メモリアクセスと、 タイマ監視処理による該警報状態監 視メモリアクセスとを交互に行うことが可能となり、 ランダムに発生する警報状 態監視メモリへのアクセスの競合を回避することが可能となる。
(16)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該警報状態タイマ監視部における警 報監視処理を行うタイムミングと該 0AMセル生成部における 0AMセル生成処理を 行うタイムミングとを時分割して管理するスケジュール管理部を有することが可 能である。
すなわち、 スケジュール管理部は、 警報状態タイマ監視部における警報監視処 理を行うタイミングと 0AMセル生成部における 0AMセル生成処理を行うタイミン グとを時分割して行うように管理する。
これにより、 例えば、 警報監視処理を行った後に 0AMセル生成処理を行うよう にスケジュール管理を行えば、 警報状態検出後の 0AMセルの生成までの時間や、 障害回復から 0AM発生停止までの時間等を可能な限り短くすることが可能となる。
(17)また、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション ID生成部は、 セルス ロッ ト信号を力ゥントするコネクション IDカウンタと、 該コネクション IDカウ ンタのカウント値が有効な期間を示す該監視制御信号を出力するためのフラグ記 憶部とで構成することも可能である。
すなわち、 コネクション IDカウンタが、セルス口ット信号をカウントした値を コネクション ID として出力し、 フラグ記憶部は、 該カウント値がコネクション
IDとして有効な期間を示すフラグを記憶し出力する。
これにより、セルス口ッ ト信号に同期したコネクション IDを出力することが可 能となり、 セルスロッ ト信号に同期して出力する 0AMセル生成部との同期が容易 になる。
(18)さらに、 本発明の ATM通信監視装置では、 該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コ ネクション IDを n ( nは自然数)巡だけ生成させその巡回回数信号を出力する処 理回数判断部を備え、 該警報状態タイマ監視部及び該 0AMセル生成部は、 それぞ れ、 該巡回回数信号に対応して、 該警報監視処理及び 0AMセル生成処理を時分割 して行うことができる。
すなわち、処理回数判断部は、生成したコネクション IDが例えば 3巡すること を判断し、 巡回回数信号 " 1 " 〜 " 3 " を順次出力する。 該警報状態監視部及び 該 0AMセル生成部は、 それぞれ巡回回数 " 1 " 〜 " 3 " で、 時分割したタイミン グで警報監視処理及び 0AMセル生成処理を行う。
これにより、 各処理を分散することや、 各処理を行う順序を効率の良い順序に 設定することが可能となる。 例えば、 1つのコネクションに複数の 0AMセルを生 成する必要がある場合、 0AM セルの挿入位置を分散させることにより、 キュ一ィ ングする情報量を少なくすることできハードウエアの削減が可能となると共に、 0AMセル挿入が成功する確率を高めることができる。 図面の簡単な説明

図 2は、 本発明に係る ATM通信監視装置の実施例(1)を示している。
この ATM通信監視装置は、 基本タイマ 10と、 この基本タイマ 10からの基本周 期信号 100を受信するコネクシヨン ID生成部 20と、 この ID生成部 20からコネ クシヨン ID信号 102及び監視制御信号 103をそれぞれ受信する警報状態タイマ監 視部 30及び 0AMセル生成部 40とで構成されている。
警報状態タイマ監視部 30の構成は、 図 28で示した従来の警報状態タイマ監視 部 30の構成と同じである。 ただし、 本実施例では、 同図中のサンプリング周期信 号 103の名称を監視制御信号 103としている。
0AMセル生成部 40は、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30の論理積回路 32を除き、 メモ リ 31、 演算部 33、 及びカウント値判断部 34にそれぞれ対応したセル生成周期メ モリ 41、 演算部 42、 及びカウント値判断部 43を含んでいる。
メモリ 41にはコネクション ID信号 102及び監視制御信号 103がそれぞれアド レス端子及びライ トイネーブル端子に入力され、 監視制御信号 103、 ライ トデー タ 121、 リ一ドデータ 122、 及びセル生成周期到達信号 123は、 ライ トイネーブル 信号 106、 ライ トデータ 107、 リードデータ 108、 及びアラーム回復信号 109に対 応している。
0AMセル生成部 40は、 周期到達信号 123、 監視制御信号 103、 及び障害状態信 号 124を入力してセル挿入要求信号 125を出力する論理積回路 44と、セル揷入要 求信号 125、 コネクション ID45_1 (102)、 0AMセル種別 45_2、 障害種別 45—3、 及 び回線 ID45— 4を入力して信号 45_1' 〜45— 4'を出力するセル生成情報キュ一部 45、 信号 45_1'〜45_4'を入力して 0AMセル 135 を出力するセル組立部 46、 及び 0AM セル 135並びに出力セル流 126を入力してセル挿入の可否を判定すると共に、 セ ル挿入可の時には出力セル 127に 0AMセル 135を挿入するとともに、 挿入不可の 時には、 挿入不可信号 132をセル組立部 46に送り、 セル組立部 46から挿入不可 信号 133としてキュー部 45に送るセル揷入部 47をさらに有している。
図 3は、 基本タイマ 10の実施例を示している。 この基本タイマ 10は、 例えば、 " 0 "からカウントアップして最大値デコーダ 13で指定される値に達すると" 0 " に戻る動作を行い、 デコーダ 12が指定するタイミングで最大値デコーダ 13が指 定する一定周期の基本周期信号 100を出力する。
この基本タイマ 10は、ハードタイマ又はソフトタイマで実現され、ハードタイ マの場合カウンタで実現できる。 図 4は、 基本周期信号 100をカウントするコネクション ID生成部 20に含まれ るコネクション IDカウンタ 21の構成例を示している。
カウンタ 21は、 例えば、 回線 1及び回線 2のコネクション数がそれぞれ 「256」 である場合、 回線 1及び回線 2のコネクション数の合計 512 のコネクション ID を出力することが可能な 9ビッ ト (MSB 8〜LSB 0 ) で構成し、 回線 1及び回線 2 毎にカウンタを設ける必要をなく し、 コスト削減を図っている。
すなわち、複数回線の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID生成部を共通化すること が可能となる。
図 2において、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30の動作は、 図 28に示したタイマ監視 部 30の動作と同様であるので説明を省略する。
0AMセル生成部 40において、 セル生成周期メモリ 41、 演算部 42、 及びカウン ト値判断部 43は、警報状態タイマ監視部 30の動作と同様にコネクション IDで指 定されるア ドレス領域にあるコネクション ID に対応したカウンタで監視制御信 号 103をカウントする。
すなわち、 メモリ 41は、監視制御信号 103をライ トイネーブル信号 120として 入力し演算部 42で 「1」 だけ加算されたデータをメモリ 41に内蔵するカウンタ に記憶する。 このカウント値が所定値になったとき、 判断部 43は、 セル生成周期 到達信号 123を出力すると共にカウンタをクリァする (クリァ回路は図示せず)。 論理積回路 44は、障害状態信号 124が 0AMセルの生成条件である障害状態を示 し、 周期到達信号 123 が周期到達を示し、 監視制御信号 103 がコネクション ID 信号 102の有効性を示すとき、セル生成情報キュー部 45にセル挿入要求信号 125 を送る。
なお、 0AMセルの生成条件は、 ITU-Tで規定される VP- AIS, VP-RDI, VC- AIS, 及び VC- RDIセル等の生成条件であり、この条件を満足しているか否かを判定する 機能は図示されていない。 例えば、 VC - AISセルの生成条件は、 該当 VC コネクシ ョンを収容する VPが障害状態であり、 且つ VCが終端点でない場合である。
キュー部 45は、コネクション ID信号 102 (符号 45_1 と称することがある)、 0AM 種別 45_2、 障害種別 45—3、 及び回線 ID45_4をキューイングする。
キュー部 45 は、 挿入不可信号 133 が挿入不可を示さないとき、 コネクション ID45— OAMセル種別 45—2'、 障害種別 45—3'、 及び回線 ID45_4'をセル組立部 46に送り セル組立部 46は、 組み立てた 0AMセル 135を出力セル流 126に挿入 することをセル挿入部 47に依頼する。
セル揷入部 47は、 挿入が可能なとき、 0AMセル 135を出力セル流 126に挿入し て出力セル 127を出力し、挿入不可とき、揷入不可信号 132をセル組立部 46に返 送する。
キュー部 45を設けたことにより、基本タイマの動作を停止する必要はなくなる。 これにより セル挿入の待ち合わせ時間の積み重ねが無くなるので監視タイマの 精度を向上させることが可能となる。 また、 基本タイマ 10及びコネクション ID 生成部 20を警報状態タイマ監視部 30及び 0AMセル生成部 40で共用して ドの コス ト削減することが可能になる。
図 5及び図 6は、 図 2に示した警報状態タイマ監視部 30の 「監視状態」 を、 そ れぞれ 「AIS警報状態」、 「RDI警報状態」、 「L0C警報状態」、 「ループバック監視」、 及び 「起動 ·停止応答監視」 にした AIS状態タイマ監視部 30a RDI状態タイマ監 視部 30b L0C状態タイマ監視部 30c (以上、 図 5参照)、 ループバックタイマ監 視部 30d、 及び起動 ·停止応答タイマ監視部 30e (以上、 図 6参照) の実施例を示 している。
各タイマ監視部 30a 30eが、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30と異なる点は、 監視中 信号 (アラーム状態信号) 105 、 それぞれに対応する AIS状態信号 105a RDI 状態信号 105b L0C状態信号 105c、 ループバック監視中信号 105d、 及び起動 ·停 止応答待ち信号 105eになっていることと、アラーム回復信号 109がそれぞれに対 応する AIS回復信号 109a RDI回復信号 109b L0C回復信号 109c、 ループバック NG信号 109d、 及び応答 NG信号 109eになっていることである。
図 7は、 図 2に示したセル生成情報キュー部 45の実施例を示している。 キュー 部 45は、図の左側から 0AMセルを構成するために必要な最小の情報であるコネク シヨン ID45— 1 0AMセル種別 45_2、 障害種別 45—3、 及び回線 ID45— 4をキューィ ングして、 右側からコネクション ID45—1' 0AMセル種別 45_2'、 障害種別 45_3' 及び回線 ID45_4'をキュ一ィング順に送出する。
これらのコネクション ID45— 1 0AMセル種別 45_2、 障害種別 45_3、 及び回線 ID45_4は、 メモリ容量を少なくするためコ一ド化されている。
例えば、 0AMセノレ種別 45— 2力 End- to- End AISセル及び End- to— End RDIセル の 2種類の場合には、 0AMセル種別 45_2は 1 ビッ トでコ一ド化し、障害種別 45_3 、 物理レイヤ障害、 VP レイヤ障害、 及び L0C障害の 3種類の場合には、 障害種 別 45—3は 2ビッ トでコ一ド化し、回線 ID45_4の回線数が 32回線存在する場合、 5ビッ トでコ一ド化することが可能である
これにより、キュー部 45が必要とするメモリ容量を削減することが可能となる。 なお、 回線が 1つの場合は、 回線 ID45_4は省略することが可能である。
図 2に示したセル組立部 46の実施例を図 8で説明する。 同図中には、 このセル 組立部 46にコネクション ID45— 、 0AMセル種別 45_2'、 障害種別 45_3'、 及び回 線 ID45_4 ' が与えるキュー部 45も併せて示している。
セル組立部 46は、 選択回路 46— 1〜3を含み、 選択回路 46—1は、 AISセル用 0AM +機能タイプ (Function-Type) 1、 AISセル用 0AM +機能タイプ 2、 …の中のいず れか 1つをコード化された 0AMセル種別 45—2'で選択し、 生成セルの 0AMタイプ +機能タイプ信号として出力して組み立てる 0AMセル (図示せず) のペイロード 部の 0バイ ト目に挿入する。
選択回路 46_2は、 障害種別コード 1、 障害種別コード 2、 …の中のいずれか 1 つをコード化された障害種別 45_3 'で選択し、 生成セルの障害種別コード信号と して出力して組み立てる 0AMセルのペイロード部の 1バイ ト目に挿入する。
選択回路 46_2は、 障害位置番号 1、 障害位置番号 2、 …の中のいずれか 1つ又 は 2つ以上を、 コード化された回線 ID45_4 'で選択し、 生成セルの障害位置番号 信号として出力して組み立てる 0AMセルのペイロード部の 2〜17バイ ト目に挿入 する。
また、 セル組立部 46は、 コネクション ID45—1 ' から 0AMセルを挿入するコネ クシヨンを知りセル揷入部 47に通知する (図示せず)。
図 9は、 本発明に係る ATM 通信監視装置の実施例(2)を示している。 この ATM 通信監視装置は、 基本タイマ 10、 コネクション ID生成部 20、 警報状態タイマ監 視部 30、 カウンタ 50、 及び 0AMセル生成部 40で構成されている。
この構成が、 図 2の実施例(1)と異なる点は、 基本タイマ 10の出力信号 100を カウントしそのカウント値 131を 0AMセル生成部 40に与える力ゥンタ 50が付加 されていることである。
警報状態タイマ監視部 30の構成は、 同図の警報状態タイマ監視部 30の構成と 同様であり、 動作も同様である。
0AMセル生成部 40の構成が同図の 0AMセル生成部 40の構成と異なる点は、 セ ル生成周期メモリ 41及び演算部 42が取り除かれておりカウンタ 50のカウント値
131がカウント値判断部 43に入力されていることである。
図 10は、 0AMセル生成部 40の動作タイミング例を示している。
まず、基本タイマ 10は、例えば 250 ミ リ秒の周期で基本周期信号 100を出力し (同図(1) )、この出力信号 100をカウンタ 50がカウントしてカウント値 131を出 力する (同図(2) )。
カウント値判断部 43は、 例えば、 カウント値 131が 「3」 になる毎に、 セル生 成周期到達信号 123 を出力する。 すなわち、 250 ミリ秒 X 4 = 1秒毎に周期到達 信号 123を出力し (同図(3) )、 論理積回路 44に与える。 同図(4)は、 コネクショ ン ID信号 102のタイミングを示している。
以後、 論理積回路 44、 キュー部 45、 セル組立部 46、 及びセル挿入部 47は、 図 2の実施例と同じである。すなわち、 障害状態信号 124及びコネクション ID信号 102で指定される 0AMセル生成を必要とするコネクションの 0AMセルを、 1秒毎 に発生する周期到達信号 123及びコネクション IDのタイミングで出力セル流 126 に挿入する。
本実施例(2)によれば、 カウンタ 50が全コネクションのセル生成周期に達した か否かを判定するカウンタを兼ねているため、例えば実施例( 1 )の各コネクション IDに対応したカウンタを設定したセル生成周期メモリ 41 は必要でなくなり、 ノ、 一ドゥエアコス トの削減が可能となる。
なお、 図 10では、 0AMセルを生成するタイミングをカウンタ 50力 S " 3 " を示 すときとしたが、 コネクションをそのコネクション IDに基づき、 4つのグループ に分類し、 それらの 0AMセルを生成するタイミングをカウンタ値 " 0 " 〜 " 3 " である時とし、 セル生成のタイミングを分散することも可能である。
これにより、 異なる生成周期で且つ分散したタイミングで 0AMセルを生成する ことが可能となり、 生成周期に対応可能となるとともに、 セル生成に成功する確 率が高くなる。
図 11は、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30の変形実施例(1)を示している。
この実施例では、基本タイマ 10及びコネクション ID生成部 20を用いることは 図 2の実施例の監視部 30と同じであるが、さらに、基本タイマ 10の出力信号 100 をカウントするカウンタ 51がタイマ監視部 30の前段に設けられている。 なお、 このカウンタ 51を図 9のカウンタ 50と共用することで、 コス トの削減を図るこ とも可能である。
警報状態タイマ監視部 30は、 ア ドレス、 リードイネ一ブル、 ライ トイネーブル、 及び入力データの各端子に、 コネクション ID信号 102、 監視制御信号 103、 タイ マ監視開始信号 106a、 及びカウンタ 51のカウント値 (ライ トデータ) 107を入力 しリードデータ 108を出力する警報状態監視メモリ 31 と、ライ トデータ 107及び リ一ドデータ 108を入力しライ トデータ 107からリードデータ 108を減算する減 算回路 35 と、 この減算結果及び監視制御信号 103 を入力してアラーム回復信号 109を出力するカウント値判断部 34とで構成されている。
動作において、 メモリ 31は、 コネクション ID信号 102に対応して発生する各 コネクション IDのタイマ監視開始信号 106aでコネクション ID信号 102が指定す るァドレスにカウンタ 51の現在のカウント値(ライ トデータ) 107を記憶する。 減算回路 35は、 以後の信号 100に同期して、 「ライ トデータ 107 (現在のカウ ント値)」 - 「リードデータ 108 (記憶されたカウンタ値: これは過去のカウント 値である)」 を演算する。
カウント値判断部 34は、 減算結果と各コネクション ID毎に設定された監視力 ゥント値 (図示せず) を比較して等しくなつたとき、 監視周期に到達したと判断 してアラーム回復信号 109を出力する。
これにより、 メモリ 31は、 コネクション ID毎に力ゥンタ 51の過去のカウンタ 値を記憶する動作のみを実行し、図 2のメモリ 31が行うカウンタ動作は不要とな る。 従って、 メモリ 31に書込アクセスする回数は減少し、 メモリの消費電力が少 なくなると共にその寿命が長くなる。
図 12は、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30の変形実施例(2)を示している。 この実施例は、基本タイマ 10及びコネクシヨン ID生成部 20を用いることと、 カウンタ 51をタイマ監視部 30の前段に設けることは図 11の実施例と同じであり 同様に力ゥンタ 51を図 9のカウンタ 50と共用することも可能である。
警報状態タイマ監視部 30が、 図 11 の構成と異なる点は、減算回路 35の代わり に監視カウント値 110及びカウンタ 51のカウント値 134を入力してこれらの加算 結果をライ トデータ 107をメモリ 31のデータ入力端子に与える加算回路 36を設 けたことと、 カウント値判断部 34にメモリ 31からのリードデータ 108、 カウン ト値 134、 及び監視制御信号 103を入力していることである。
動作において、 加算回路 36は、 カウンタ 51の現在のカウント値 134に監視力 ゥント値 110を加算し、監視カウント値 110の時間だけ経過後のカウンタ 51の力 ゥント値を演算し、 この値 (ライ トデータ 107) をメモリ 31は、 各コネクション IDに対応したタイマ監視開始信号 106aのタイミングで記憶する。
カウント値判断部 34は、 メモリ 31からのカウンタ値 (リードデータ 108) と カウンタ 51の現在のカウント値 134 とを、 監視制御信号 103がコネクション ID の有効性を示すタイミングで比較し、コネクション IDに対応したアラーム回復信 号 109を出力する。
これにより、 図 11の変形実施例(2)と同様に、 メモリ 31への書込アクセス回数 は減少し、 メモリ 31の消費電力が少なくなると共にその寿命が長くなる。
なお、監視カウント値 110は、 コネクション IDに対応して変わる値としたが、 全コネクション共通の一定値とすることも可能である。
図 13は、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30の変形実施例(3)を示している。
この監視部 30は、 警報状態監視メモリ 31の前段に監視メモリアクセス制御部 37を備えていることが図 2に示した監視部 30と異なっている。
アクセス制御部 37は、 図 2に示す如くメモリ 31に入力されたコネクション ID 信号 102、 ライ トイネーブル信号 106、及びライ トデータ 107を入力すると共に、 さらにセルスロッ ト信号 111、 選択信号 114、 並びに受信セル処理部 52からのコ ネクシヨン ID信号 136、 ライ トイネ一ブル信号 137、 及びライ トデータ 138を入 力している。
また、 本実施例で用いるコネクショ ン ID生成部 20は、 セルスロッ ト信号 111 を入力してこの信号 111に同期して動作する。
図 14は、図 13に示したコネクション ID生成部 20の実施例(1)を示している。 この ID生成部 20は、基本タイマ 10の出力信号 100でセッ ト状態になり、 リセッ ト信号でリセッ ト状態になるフラグ信号 112を記憶して出力するフラグ記憶部 23 と、 セルスロッ ト信号 111に同期してフラグ信号 112を監視制御信号 103として 出力する FF回路 24と、 フラグ信号 112がセッ ト状態を示すとき、 セルスロッ ト 信号 111に同期し、これをカウントしたコネクション ID信号 102を出力するコネ クシヨン IDカウンタ 21 と、 コネクション ID信号 102 を入力してコネクション IDの所定の最大値を検出してフラグ記憶部 23に該リセット信号を与えるコネク シヨン ID最大値デコーダ 22とで構成されている。
図 15は、 コネクション ID生成部 20の動作タイミング例を示している。
同図(1)は、基本タイマ 10の出力信号 100を示しており、 この出力信号 100は、 例えば、 250 ミリ秒周期のパルス信号である。 同図(2)は、 フラグ信号 112を示し ており、 信号 100毎に " 1 " にセッ トされてレ、る。 同図(3)は、 セルスロッ ト信号 111を示しており、 この信号 111 をカウンタ 21はカウントして同図(4)のコネク シヨン ID信号 102を発生する。
最大値デコーダ 22は、 コネクション ID信号 102が所定の最大値になったこと を検出して、 フラグ記憶部 23に、 フラグ信号 112を " 0 " にするリセッ ト信号を 与える。
同図(5)で示した監視制御信号 103は、 フラグ信号 112をセルスロッ ト信号 111 で同期した信号になっており、コネクション ID信号 102が有効である区間を示し ている。
図 16は、図 13に示した警報状態タイマ監視部 30の動作タイミング例を示して いる。 図 16を参照して監視部 30の動作を以下に説明する。
同図(1)〜(3)は、 図 15に示した基本タイマの出力信号 100、 フラグ信号 112、 及びセスロッ ト信号 111をそれぞれ示している。 同図(4)は、受信セルスロッ トを 示しており、 セル信号 111に同期したスロッ トになっている。
同図(5)は、 コネクション ID信号 102を示しており、 セルスロッ ト信号 111に 同期して順次 " 0 ", " 1 ", …のように変化している。 同図(6)は、 コネクション ID信号 136を示しており、 セルス口ッ ト信号 111 に同期して順次 " 7 ", " 3 ", …のように変化している。 同図(7)は、 選択信号 114を示しており、 セルスロッ ト 信号 111の前半をセル処理選択区間及びその後半をタイマ監視処理区間に 2分す るィ 号である。
同図(8)は、アクセス制御部 37から出力されるァドレス信号 139を示しており、 このァドレス信号 139は、コネクション ID信号 102及びコネクション ID信号 136 をそれぞれ選択信号 114で選択した信号" 7 ", " 0 ", " 3 ", " 1 ", …となってい る。
また、 アクセス制御部 37は、 ア ドレス信号 139と同様に選択信号 114で、 ライ トイネーブル信号 106及びライ トデータ 107を受信セル処理部 52からのものとタ イマ監視部 30からのものとを切り替えて出力する。
これにより、各コネクション ID信号 102及び 136で指定されるカウンタの値を 受信セル処理とタイマ監視処理に切り分けてメモリ 31 にアクセスすることが可 能となる。
例えば、 各受信セル処理選択区間でリセッ トが必要なコネクション ID= " 7 " に対応したカウンタを " 0 " にリセッ トすることができる。
図 17は、 本発明に係る ATM通信監視装置の実施例(3)を示している。
この実施例の基本的な構成は、 図 2に示した実施例(1)と同じであるが、 同図の コネクション ID生成部 20が基本タイマ 10からの出力信号 100のみを入力するの に対し、 セルスロッ ト信号 111 に同期して動作する図 14 に示したコネクション ID生成部 20と同じものを用いている点が異なっている。
また、 監視制御信号 103及びセルスロッ ト信号 111 を入力し、 出力信号 129a 及び 129bを、それぞれ警報状態タイマ監視部 30及び 0AMセル生成部 40に与える スケジュール管理部 53が追加されていることも異なっている。
なお、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30及び 0AMセル生成部 40の基本的な構成は図 2 に示した実施例(1)と同じである。
図 17の ATM通信監視装置の動作タイミングを図 18に示す。 以下に、 同図を参 照して ATM通信監視装置の動作を説明する。
同図の(1)基本タイマの出力信号 100、 (2)フラグ信号 112、 (3)受信セルスロッ ト信号 111、 (4)セルスロッ ト、 及び(5)コネクション ID信号 102は、 それぞれ図 16 (1)〜(5)に示した信号 100, 112, 及び 111、 セルスロッ ト、 及び信号 102に対 応している。
同図(6)の警報処理スケジュール信号 129aは、 監視制御信号 103が " 1 " のと きでセルスロッ ト信号 111 の前半区間で " 1 " になる信号であり、 警報監視処理 を実行してよいタイミングを示している。 すなわち、 警報状態タイマ監視部 30 は同図(7)に示したタイミングで各コネクション IDに対応した警報監視処理を実 行する。
図 17の信号 12%は、 監視制御信号 103が " 1 " のときで信号 129aカ " 0 " の とき " 1 " になる信号である。 0AMセル生成部 40は、 信号 129bが " 1 " である とき、 図 18 (8)に示すタイミングで 0AMセル生成処理を実行する。
すなわち、 コネクション ID= " 0 " の警報監視処理を実行した後、 同じコネク シヨン ID= " 0 " の 0AMセル生成処理を実行し、 以後、 同様に各コネクション ID の警報監視処理及び OAMセル生成処理が順次実行される。
これにより、 警報監視処理で警報状態を検出した段階で、 直ちに、 0AM セル生 成処理で対応した 0AMセルを生成することが可能となるとともに、 その逆に警報 監視処理で警報回復を検出した後、 直ちに、 0AM セルの生成を停止することが可 能となる。
図 19は、 本発明に係る ATM通信監視装置の実施例(4)を示している。 この ATM 通信監視装置の基本的な構成は、 図 17 に示した実施例(3)と同じであるが、 0AM セル生成部 40は図 9の 0AMセル生成部 40と同じものを用いており、 その前段に はカウンタ 50が設けられている。
動作において、 図 17の実施例と同じであり、 スケジュール管理部 53が指定す るタイミングで警報監視処理及び 0AMセル生成処理が時分割されて実行され、 そ れらの実行順序は、 警報状態又は警報回復を検出した後、 直ちに 0AMセル生成又 は生成停止をするようにすることが可能である。
図 20は、 本発明に係る ATM通信監視装置の実施例(5)を示している。 この ATM 通信監視装置の基本的な構成は、図 19の ATM通信監視装置と同じであるが、 コネ クシヨン ID生成部 20が処理回数信号 128を出力し、スケジュール管理部 53に与 えている点が異なっている。
図 21は、 コネクション ID生成部 20の実施例(2)を示している。 このコネクシ ヨン ID生成部 20は、図 14で示したコネクション ID生成部 20にさらに処理回数 判断部 25及び論理積回路 26を付加した構成になっている。
そして、 コネクション ID生成部 20は、 コネクション ID最大値デコーダ 22の 出力信号 140を直接、 フラグ記憶部 23に与える代わりに、 処理回数判断部 25及 び論理積回路 26に与え、 処理回数判断部 25はさらにセルスロッ ト信号 111及び フラグ信号 112を入力して処理回数信号 128及び最大処理回数に達した信号 141 を出力している。
また、論理積回路 26は、信号 140をさらに受信しリセッ ト信号をフラグ記憶部 23に与えている。
動作において、 コネクション ID生成部 20は、 図 14のコネクション ID生成部 20と同様のコネクション ID信号 102及び監視制御信号 103を出力する。 処理回 数判断部 25は信号 140をカウントすることにより、 コネクション IDがー巡した 回数をカウントしてそのカウント数を処理回数信号 128として出力し、 その巡回 回数が所定の最大巡回回数に達したとき、 信号 141を " 1 " とする。
論理積回路 26は、 信号 140及び信号 141が共に " 1 " になったとき、 リセッ ト 信号を記憶部 23に与え、 フラグ信号 112を " 0 " にする。
図 22は、 図 20の ATM通信監視装置の動作例を示しており、 同図(1)〜(5)の基 本タイマからの出力信号 100、 フラグ信号 112、 セルスロッ ト信号 111、 セルスロ ット、 及びコネクショ ン ID信号 102は、 それぞれ図 18の同図(1)〜(5)の信号に 対応している。
図 20の処理回数信号 128は、 順次 " 0 ", " 1 ", · · · , 「最大巡回回数 N ( Nは自 然数) — 1」, " 0 ", …というように巡回して変化する。 本実施では、 警報監視処 理と 0AMセル生成処理を N回に分けて行うようにスケジュール管理部 53の機能を 拡大する。
すなわち、スケジュール管理部 53は、セルスロッ ト信号 111、処理回数信号 128、 及び監視制御信号 103に基づいてコネクション ID信号 102が有効になるタイミン グを N巡に分散させて発生する信号 129a及び 129bを作成してそれぞれ論理積回 路 32及び 44に与える。
図 22(7)の処理回数信号 128は、 コネクション ID信号を 2巡させた場合を示し ており、 処理回数信号 128は、 "0", " 1 ", "0", "1 " …と変化する。
同図(5)のコネクション ID信号 102は、 各処理回数信号 128= "0", " 1 " 区 間内で、 "0", "1 ", ···, "最大デコーダ数一 1 "を繰り返すが、 同図中では " 0" の区間のみが示されている。
同図(6)はタイマ処理の種別を示しており、 この実施例では、 処理回数信号 128 = "0"、 且つコネクション ID信号 102= "0" の区間をさらに図 18の場合と同 様に前半と後半の区間に分割し、 前半区間で警報状態監視処理を実行し、 後半で EE- 0AMセル生成処理を実行する。
そして、 処理回数信号 128= " 1 "、 且つコネクション ID信号 102= " 0 " の区 間の前半区間で SEG-0AMセル生成処理を実行し、 後半では処理を行わない。
SEG-0AMセルは、 1998年 6月に ITU- T会合で追加された Segmennt-OAMセルであ り、 この SEG - 0AMセルは、 1コネクション当たり EE(End-End)_0AMセルと共に発 生させる場合がある。
本実施例において、 スケジュール管理部 53は、 1巡目に EE-0AMセルの生成処 理を行い、 2巡目に SEG-0AMセルの生成処理を行うように制御している。 従って、 セル生成情報キュー部 45は、 1巡目の処理において 1コネクション当たり最大 1 セル (EE- 0AMセル) 分の情報を格納すればよく、 2巡目の処理において 1コネク シヨン当たり最大 1セル (SEG- 0AMセル) 分の情報を格納すればよいことになる。 従って、 EE- 0AMセル及び SEG-0AMセルを分散せずに 1巡で生成した場合と比較 してキュー部 45が格納する情報量は削減でき、キューの溢れる発生確率も低下す る。 この結果、 キュー部 45の必要メモリ容量を削減することが可能となる。
以上説明したように、 本発明に係る ATM通信監視装置によれば、 コネクション ID生成部がコネクション IDを生成し、 0AMセル生成部が基本周期信号をカウント した所定の周期で、各コネクション IDに対応した生成すべき 0AMセルのコネクシ ョン情報をキューィングして該 0AMセルを生成するように構成したので、 セル挿 入の待ち合わせ時間の積み重ねがなくなり監視タイマの精度を向上させることが 可能となる。 また、 カウンタが該基本周期信号をカウントし、 0AM セル生成部が、 該カウン タの値に基づいた所定の周期で、該コネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルのコネク ション情報をキューィングして該 0AMセルを生成するように構成したので、 コネ クション ID毎にカウンタを用意する必要がなくなり、コス トの削減が可能となる。 また、警報状態タイマ監視部が該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎にカウン トして、各コネクション IDのコネクションの監視状態が所定継続時間に達したか 否かを監視するようにすれば、警報状態監視用の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID 生成部を 0AMセル生成用の基本タイマ及びコネクション ID生成部と共用すること が可能となり、 ハードウェアのコス ト削減が可能となる。
また、該コネクション ID生成部において、 カウンタが複数回線の該コネクショ ン IDを生成するようにすれば、 各回線毎にコネクション ID生成部を設ける必要 がなくなりコス トの削減が可能となる。
また、 該コネクション情報を少なく ともコネクション ID 情報、 生成する 0AM セル種別情報、 及び障害種別情報、 並びに複数の回線の場合、 回線 ID情報で構成 すれば、コネクション IDに対応した 0AMセルの全ての情報をキューィングする必 要がなくなり、 必要メモリ容量が減少し、 コス トの削減が可能となる。
また、 各情報をコード化することによりさらに必要メモリ容量を削減すること も可能である。
また、 警報状態タイマ監視部を、 該基本周期信号をカウント値をタイマ監視開 始信号で記憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 現在の該カウンタ値と該記憶された力 ゥント値との差を演算する減算回路と、 該差と所定の監視カウント値とを比較し て監視状態が所定継続時間に到達したか否かを判断するカウント値判断部とで構 成すれば、 警報状態監視メモリへの書込アクセス回数を少なくすることが可能と なり、 メモリの消費電力が少なくなるとともに、 その寿命が長くなる。
また、 警報状態タイマ監視部を、 該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、 該カウンタの値と所定の監視カウント値とを加算する加算回路と、 該加算回路の 演算結果をタイマ監視開始信号で記憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 該記憶された カウント値と現在の該カウント値とを比較して監視状態が所定継続時間に到達し たか否かを判断するカウント値判断部とで構成すれば、 警報状態監視メモリの消 費電力が少なくなるとともに、 その寿命が長くなる。
また、 該警報状態タイマ監視部において、 監視メモリアクセス制御部が受信セ ルの処理部からの処理結果に基づいた該警報状態監視メモリへのアクセスと、 該 警報状態タイマ監視部のタイマ監視処理による該警報状態監視メモリへのァクセ スと、 を時分割で選択制御するように構成すれば、 ランダムに発生するカウンタ 用メモリへのアクセスの競合を回避し、 メモリの保持情報に矛盾が発生させなく すことが可能となる。
また、 スケジュール管理部が、 警報監視処理を行うタイムミングと 0AMセル生 成処理を行うタイムミングとを時分割して管理するようにすれば、 例えば、 警報 監視処理を行った後に 0AMセル生成処理を行うようにスケジュール管理を行うこ とにより、 警報状態検出後の 0AMセルの生成までの時間や、 障害回復から 0AM発 生停止までの時間等を可能な限り短く し効率を上げることが可能となる。
さらに、 該コネクション ID生成部を該コネクション IDを n ( nは自然数) 巡 だけ生成させその巡回回数信号を出力する処理回数判断部を備え、 該警報状態監 視部及ぴ該 0AMセル生成部は、 それぞれ、 該巡回回数信号に対応して、 該警報監 視処理及び 0AMセル生成処理を時分割して行うようにすれば、 各処理を分散する ことや、 各処理を行う順序を効率の良い順序に設定することが可能となる。

Claims

請 求 の 範 囲
1 . 基本周期信号を発生する基本タイマと、
該基本周期信号の区間内で 1つ以上のコネクション ID を生成するコネクショ ン ID生成部と、
該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎にカウントした所定の周期で、各コネク ション IDに対応した生成すべき 0AMセルのコネクション情報をキューィングして 該 0AMセルを生成する 0AMセル生成部と、
を有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
2 . 請求の範囲 1において、
該 0AMセル生成部が、該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎にカウントするた めのセル生成周期メモリを有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
3 . 請求の範囲 2において、
該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コネクション IDが有効であることを示す監視 制御信号をさらに生成し、 該セル生成周期メモリが、 該監視制御信号に基づいて 該基本周期信号をカウントすることを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
4 . 基本周期信号を発生する基本タイマと、
該基本周期信号の区間内で 1つ以上のコネクション ID を生成するコネクショ ン ID生成部と、
該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、
該カウンタの値に基づいた所定の周期で、該コネクション IDに対応した発生す べき 0AMセルのコネクション情報をキューィングして該 0AMセルを生成する 0AM セル生成部と、
を有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
5 . 請求の範囲 4において、
該 0AMセルをキューイングするタイミングを該カウントの値に基づいて分散す ることを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
6 . 請求の範囲 1又は 4において、
該基本周期信号を各コネクション ID毎にカウントして、 各コネクション IDの コネクションの監視状態が所定継続時間に達したか否かを監視する警報状態タイ マ監視部をさらに有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
7 . 請求の範囲 6において、
該警報状態タイマ監視部が、該基本周期信号を該コネクション ID毎にカウント するための警報状態監視メモリを有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
8 . 請求の範囲 7において、
該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コネクション IDが有効であることを示す監視 制御信号をさらに生成し、 該警報状態監視メモリが、 該監視制御信号に基づいて 該基本周期信号をカウン卜することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
9 . 請求の範囲 1又は 4において、
該 0AMセル生成部は、 該コネクション情報をキューイングするセル生成情報キ ユー部と、 キューィングされた該コネクション情報に基づいて 0AMセルを組み立 てるセル組立部と、 セル挿入の可否を判断して、 該組み立てられた 0AMセルを出 力セル流に挿入するセル挿入部とを備えたことを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
10. 請求の範囲 1又は 4において、
該コネクション ID生成部は、 複数回線の該コネクション IDを生成するための カウンタを含むことを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
11. 請求の範囲 9において、
該コネクション情報が、少なく ともコネクション ID情報、生成する 0AMセル種 別情報、 及び障害種別情報、 並びに複数の回線の場合、 回線 ID情報で構成するこ とを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
12. 請求の範囲 11において、
該 0AMセル種別情報、該障害種別情報、及び該回線 ID情報がコード化されてい ることを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
13. 請求の範囲 1又は 4において、
該基本周期信号をカウントするカウンタと、 該カウンタの値をタイマ監視開始 信号で記憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 現在の該カウンタ値と該記憶されたカウ ント値との差を演算する減算回路と、 該差と所定の監視カウント値とを比較して 監視状態が所定継続時間に到達したか否かを判断するカウント値判断部と、 をさ らに有することを特徴とする ATM通信監視装置。
14. 請求の範囲 1又は 4において、
該基本周期信号をカウン卜するカウンタと、 該カウンタの値と所定の監視力ゥ ント値とを加算する加算回路と、 該加算回路の演算結果をタイマ監視開始信号で 記憶する警報状態監視メモリ と、 該記憶されたカウント値と現在の該カウント値 とを比較して監視状態が所定継続時間に到達したか否かを判断するカウント値判 断部と、 をさらに有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
15. 請求の範囲 8において、
該警報状態タイマ監視部は、 受信セルの処理部からの処理結果に基づいた該警 報状態監視メモリへのアクセスと、 該警報状態タイマ監視部のタイマ監視処理に よる該警報状態監視メモリへのアクセスと、 を時分割で選択制御する監視メモリ アクセス制御部を含むことを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
16. 請求の範囲 8において、
該警報状態タイマ監視部における警報監視処理を行うタイムミングと該 0 1セ ル生成部における 0AMセル生成処理を行うタイムミングとを時分割して管理する スケジュール管理部を有することを特徴とした ATM通信監視装置。
17. 請求の範囲 8において、
該コネクション ID 生成部は、 セルスロッ ト信号をカウントするコネクション IDカウンタと、 該コネクション IDカウンタのカウント値が有効な期間を示す該 監視制御信号を出力するためのフラグ記憶部とで構成されていることを特徴とし た ATM通信監視装置。
18. 請求の範囲 17において、
該コネクション ID生成部が、 該コネクション IDを n ( nは自然数) 巡だけ生 成させその巡回回数信号を出力する処理回数判断部を備え、
該警報状態タイマ監視部及び該 0AMセル生成部は、 それぞれ、 該巡回回数信号 に対応して、 該警報監視処理及び 0AMセル生成処理を時分割して行うことを特徴 とした ATM通信監視装置。
