Excellent Design

As a first time buyer of the ridge wallet that seemed to sponsor every third YouTube video I watched, I can see why so many people are willing to stand by it. The wallet is lightweight, compact, RFID blocking and of great quality. I chose the cash strap option after seeing it was slightly more streamlined than the money clip version and it's so streamlined and lightweight that you can forget the wallet is even in your pocket, which is something to be cautious of come laundry day. The wallet does operate a bit differently than any you're used to, both the cash strap and the card compartment took a bit of getting used to, this is because the wallet is held together with straps and not the screws you see on the pictures (which only hold your chosen color & material to the RFID blocking material underneath). All in all though I can't help but give it a full rating due to the fact that it is so unobtrusive and easy to use once used to it (shouldn't take more than a week). Once you're used to it, it is incredibly quick and easy to remove either cash and card, as well as to replace them once finished. I wholeheartedly recommend this product to anyone willing to meet their well-deserved price point for a wallet worth carrying a lifetime.
Titanium Stonewashed
Dennis B.· Review provided by ridge.com · March 12, 2022
My wife first considered gifting a Ridge wallet to me for Christmas. She believes it is a really great product and liked the idea of the RFID protection. But... I was hesitant at the time. Just after Christmas I decided to try one and selected the Stonewashed Titanium model for its appearance and consideration that it would be less prone to scratches over time. I ordered the money clip with the wallet in addition to the flex strap and at the time of this review, 2022-03-12, I have not yet tried the money clip. It took a few days for me to become familiar with the Ridge wallet. I stopped using back pocket wallets some years ago, transitioned to front pocket leather models for a number of years since, and more recently replaced those with a wide rubber band from my local grocery store produce section. For the ultimate thin wallet experience guys, you can't beat a wide rubber band used to hold broccoli together. However, from personal experience, you really have to watch your credit cards because it's quite easy to mis-return them to the thick rubber band. The result is ejecting your credit card(s) some distance from where you are standing... whether that is in the check out lane at the store or while standing next to the gas pump. It's an experience retrieving a credit card from under my pickup on the service drive at my local fuel retailer.

Once I got the hang of using the Ridge I can't recommend it enough. It's a great product.

What I didn't anticipate though is the desire to purchase more Ridge wallets. If you're like me you have a number of credit card sized ID cards. Think of your healthcare related cards and what the doctor's office requests when you show up. HSA, regular healthcare insurance card, perhaps you carry a Medicare card, pharmaceutical card of some sort, list of prescriptions or supplements you take... the list goes on. At this point in my life I'm lucky to have only a couple of cards. But I also take supplements and am a regular at my local gym. I'm considering a Ridge wallet just for healthcare related information. Ridge doesn't offer something like this at this time so I'm looking for healthcare related decals that I might affix to a Ridge just for that purpose.

Next comes hunting and fishing. There are hunting and fishing licenses, permits, hunter and fisherman education cards, carry and conceal permits, the list goes on. I'm glad to see that Ridge has recently begun offering Realtree Ridge wallets. That's a great option for the wildlife side of me.

I'm sure that as time goes on I will come up with more ideas for Ridge wallet uses. With multiple pockets on our pants, there are multiple places to put Ridge wallets depending upon the occasion.

So ... I'm glad that my wife first suggested the Ridge... and I'm very happy that I listened to her... and took her advice.
Warranty Claim
Carter L.· Review provided by ridge.com/ · October 20, 2023
I contacted Ridge for a warranty claim on a wallet (since discontinued) due to screws being stuck, thus preventing me from changing out the elastic strap. I didn't have very high hopes on the claim since I'd have the wallet a long time and it had signs of corrosion, scratches and dents, but ridge promptly responded with a fix, they said they didn't have the replacement due to discontinuation so I was able to choose a new one (I chose the stonewashed titanium due to the anti corrosive properties and the distressed look to hide scratches that I will inevitably get on it). Ridge had the wallet out the door and in my hand in less than a week from the claim. I have purchased these wallets for relatives and they all love them, I was really impressed with the prompt responses and customer service. Thanks Ridge!
best wallet so far
Adrian F.· Review provided by ridge.com/ · May 28, 2021
i already switched from a regular wallet to a thin wallet from the company paprcuts, so I wasnt sure if the upgrade to a Ridge Wallet would actually improve my wallet situation.
-Turns out it was an excellent upgrade and definitely worth the money. The build quality is great and the look of titanium stonewash is really cool. The Cash strap version works really well and helps a lot carrying some cash or notes etc. The ridge wallet is about half of the size of my last wallet although it is maybe a few grams heavier, it is definitely a bit scary the first few days because you feel like you have lost your wallet because your pockets feel empty :)
To switch to a ridge wallet you actually have to decide which cards you want to take with you, so you will be forced to minimize your wallet, but thats the basic idea I guess. And using it now for 2-3 months, i was never in a situation where I missed anything.
I use it with the Cavity tray which is a good addition but it takes up some card space. But here in Switzerland coins are still useful from time to time.
The movement to extract a card becomes natural after the first 3 days and it is way faster then a traditional wallet.
Extra coins go directly in the pocket and into a saving jar at home / or in the car for parking etc.
I can recommend it to everybody.

Only addition I would like to see would be a mounting point for a lanyard. but I see thats hard to implement
